Default Door Ajar Message

The rear passenger door ajar message randomly pops up on the dash while driving. What is a suggested fix for cheapest amount if I know the door is shut? I was thinking of just using a jumper in the connecter. Thoughts?

Find the broken wire, which seems to be the usual cause.

You can disable specific door ajar circuits in the BCM with forscan for a fast $0 fix. That is my cheapest solution but it's not ideal.

I have a Bluetooth OBD2 connecter coming next week. I did jumper the latch sensor to see if it was the sensor or a broken wire, with 2 days of driving, no door ajar message. Leading me to believe it is the door latch sensor that is bad.

All I did to get rid of the dash light and chime was to unplug the door sensor. And my issue went away. Not the proper fix but I never get the warning anymore.

Supercab (Rear half doors) or SuperCrew (Full rear doors)? I used to get the rear door ajar warning on my Supercab. I just had to close it a bit firmer. It used to jar loose on rough roads, since there is no support pillar for it to close against.

There is noting wrong with sensor or wire i checked many times disconnecting the wires and sensors had problem with wiring inside the black rubber but fixed them properly and now all the door electrics were working fine the lock and speaker etc... i think the bcm is cooked trying to find way disable the door ajar light. Mine is full door version
