Just wondering if navigation shuts off after a certain amount of time?

No navigation does not end. It's not a subscription. It also doesn't update unless you buy a new SD card (~$200).

SYNC doesn't expire, nor does navigation.

Satellite radio is the only free trial that would expire.

Yes, when they add new roads, new subdivisions, expressways etc. The new ones will not be on the card and if want the new ones in your nav you will need to purchase an updated/new card. The old card will keep on ticking though it will just be out-dated.

Hi Anguishedmetal,

SYNC and navigation are both free to use for the lifetime of your vehicle. SYNC Services, SiriusXM radio, and SiriusXM Travel Link do require you to purchase a subscription after the free trial is over (if your vehicle comes with one). Navigation map updates are released yearly, but you are not required to purchase a new SD card if you don't want to.

Here are some helpful links:

SYNC Services Overview - http://owner.ford.com/how-tos/sync-t...=my-ford-touch

SiriusXM and Travel Link - http://www.siriusxm.com/

Map Updates - www.navigation.com

Let me know if you have any questions!
