Just got my 2018 F150 Lariat with 502A ... installed Fordpass on Samsung S7 and I can see fuel, turn locks on and off and remotely start from the Fordpass app just fine but if I tap the "location" icon it goes to a screen that shows my truck name at top and a blank screen with what might be a compass in lower right but nothing else and never "locates" y truck .. I DO have location services turned on on my phone. What did I miss??

Mine works also. Could be the phone, you might try taking the battery out for a second and rebooting your phone.

Well it works on my wife's Samsung S8 but not on my S7 .... must be something I did on the phone it is running latest available Android version for Verizon S7 Nugat
