Does the Ford Pass app work for you?
It doesn't work for me. "something has gone wrong - blah blah blah..." is the message I get.
I used to think that the Ford Owner app, that was replaced with the Ford Pass app, was useless, but Ford Pass is now the clear winner.
This being the only issue I have with my truck, I have to consider myself extremely lucky by comparison to others who have water leak issues, throttle body problems etc, the serious issues as compared to some minor app.

What is it that you are trying to do with this App?
Since you have a 2016, it provides no Sync Connect features for you.
It provides parking availability in certain cities, with Seattle being the closest to you. Other apps probably provide better parking assistance.
I just installed it to see what happened. It opens just fine. I logged in with my Ford Owner information, it did NOT have my vehicles in it, nor my dealer. I removed it.
I suggest you uninstall and reinstall, which fixes many app issues.

I would like to see what it offers. Thinking maybe there are some improvements over the Ford Owner app, which has been removed and never really worked for me.

I use ford pass every day I work. starting truck and being able to have a cooled truck and seat is awesome. Most other features are a novelty but i'm glad I ordered sync connect when ordering truck.
OK, so Ford Pass seems designed for those with Sync Connect, which if I am not mistaken is not available for 2016 or older vehicles.
If I am also not mistaken, when Ford Pass came out Ford Owner was pulled, which was supposed to be for vehicles with Sync 3 and maybe Sync 2.
Why would they pull one for the other when the apps supposedly served didn't versions of Sync capabilities? Basically leaving only the 2017 vehicles with an app.
