The biggest complaint I have about my '14 is that the AC sucks. I mean sometimes it actually feels like it stops working and warms up. Another thing I hate is it defaults to max AC all the time so the AC will get stinky if I run it always on that. I also know its a bandaid for a poor system. please say they finally fixed the AC problems on the new trucks

 

I have a 3.5 Eco, SCAB Lariat, 502A, FX4 and the A/C works great. It has been tested already at over 100 degrees in Death Valley. Separate controls work fine too. Doesn't seem to run to hard and the fan speed cuts back pretty quickly, in other words, it cools down pretty fast.

 

Mine works fabulous.

Mine works Great!!! As good as or maybe even better than my 95 XLT which would freeze you out of the cabin in 100 degree weather. My 05 XLT A/C sucked had to have it in MAX A/C and it still wasn't good. I am very impressed with my 15.

 

Also very happy with the A/C on my 2015.

 

Perhaps those parts aren't branded, "Made in China" as other parts are.

 

ford will never admit that its just a poor design on the generation of trucks I have. simply put the AC is marginal and ford knows it. There were some things that helped like fan speeds and defaulting the AC setting to max all the time. its a big deal to me but in utah we have about 3 mos a year that I really need it. if I lived in a hot climate like vegas or phoenix. I actually wouldn't buy my 14 f150 because of the weak AC unit.

 

The ac in my 15 is more like a maytag freezer.
Cannot run it long before i have to turn it down to low and crack a window.
