Do you ever start to resent your truck

Do you ever start to resent your truck
I miss my 2014 super cab STX. It wasn't 4X4, had the base 3.7, and was very basic. Nothing fancy about the colors or trim, but it was SOLID. No creaks, and no issues for the 60,000 miles I put on it.
I spotted the lead foot color early 2018 and become obsessed, it was my goal to find the exact special edition XLT leadfoot that I wanted, and I eventually found it a few hundred miles away. It had features I've never had before. Nav, 4X4, ecoboost engine, extended gas tank, etc etc.
I understand the forums highlight any issues but I'm seriously starting to resent it and I'm a little apprehensive for long term ownership, so if someone could knock some sense into me that would help.
Issues:
1. IWE issue, thankfully it was fixed without further issues. I would get a horrible grinding noise when leaving driveway at slow speeds.
2. The feature that switches interior lighting from dim to bright is super wonky and goes back and forth even in bright daylight, just dealing with it right now.
3. Sunroof rattles. I finally did the "tape" fix but its kind of returning.
4. There's a few spots of trim where you can see glue and its kind of separating and just looks bad.
5. Every single piece of plastic trim on the truck creeks somehow, its starting to drive me crazy.
6. AC smells like absolute moldy ***, I know I know turn off recirculate, turn off AC, move lever right 4 degrees, count to 10, reverse, off on blah blah blah. Sorry but I've never had to do this on my last two trucks or other branded vehicles, its annoying.
7. Recently discovered rear cab vent is loose and letting water in, awesome!
8. Dash warp? I went and checked and sure enough I have it... great.
9. Glovebox misaligned? I have it too... could stick your hand in there with it closed.
10. Too scared to check for oil leaks.
The problem is I hate dealing the the dealer. Some have been great, but I dread having to leave truck for days on end and then possibly having it in worse condition. I don't want sunroof messed with and possible damage for a grease fix. I don't want dash replaced because I've heard of issues after install. Its just one thing after another. There is something about my 14 that just felt more... solid. Its hard to explain.
So now I'm stuck at a crossroads, I started looking at 2014's that would fit features I do want to keep, but damn if they aren't still 30,000.00 trucks for sale with 50,000 miles! I owe 36,000 on my truck, and it has 19,000 miles. I think realistically I could expect low 30's trade on it. So what I need to roll negative equity into a even older truck? I don't know what to do at this point. Maybe wait it out until a complete refresh and give it a go? End rant, go ahead and rip me apart now.

I hear you on the AC smell, it’s atrocious. Otherwise my 2018 has been really solid. If you have a ton of rattles anyway you might just go ahead with the dash replacement, might even improve the rattles.
I miss my ‘04 though I must admit.

No moldy AC smell, sunroof leaks/rattles or interior creaks yet but the leaf spring and drive shaft clunk are starting to drive me insane. I paid 60+ for this truck and it’s an embarrassment to drive. Prior to this I had two GMC Sierras back to back and although they weren’t going to win any races with the 5.3 motor - I had extremely good luck with them. I love the looks of my F150 but I struggle every day trying to convince myself I made a good decision buying it.

I hear ya, I had a 2006 F150 that I adored it I traded it for my 14 because I wanted a crew cab and it was an extended cab. Worst decision ever. It seems every F150 from the Gen 11 forward has been slightly worse than the one before it. I do believe the Gen 11 is the best F150. In my case I couldn't justify the financial hit so I am living with my 2014 even though I resent it every day. Just looking at it ticks me off and now the valve cover started leaking oil, awesome.

Liked my 1993 Cummins, but regular cab. Disliked my 1999 250 SD. Disliked my 2007 F150. Liked my 2014 4runner, went to trade for 2019 Tacoma and just to small of a truck. Love my new used 2016 F150. Basic white, 33k miles, solid truck. Even my wife loves it, no regrets.
