Default Display gallons used

Before asking, yes I've searched and did not find anything, although I didn't read all 345 threads about the accuracy of miles until empty.

On my 2016 Lariat, is there a way to display the gallons of fuel used? In the trip screen, my 2011 FX4 showed this, but I cannot find if you can on the new one.

I trusted this MUCH more than miles until empty. It was always within 0.5 gallons. Just filled her up every time, drove until 20 gallons were used, and fill up again. Never had an issue.

Thanks

I have a XLT (302A) not a lariat, but my trip display shows gallons used:

Yes but you also have a 2015.

OP: Based on some of the threads I've read here, I don't think gallons used is shown anywhere on the 2016's. I think they got rid of it.

They removed this item on the 2016.

It is highly inaccurate, on my truck it is anyways, and pretty much useless. It's been as much as 1.5 gallons off for me so I don't even pay attention to it anymore.

Mine is a little off, but I still like seeing it because it gives me a ballpark figure... Hoping one day it can be adjusted.

Default My 2015 and 2018 showed gallons used.

My 2015 showed gallons used. My wife's 2018 used to show gallons used, then it change to miles to empty, then it change to miles to empty. That's really stupid because the fuel gauge shows miles to empty. Can anyone explain how to get back to gallons used?

If your year models “lie-o-meter” can be accurized, your gallons used will be corrected too. There is a big thread about how to do this adjustment on here somewhere. I adjusted my 2016 to reality, lost a little mpg, but it is what it is.
