well at this point the only way that appears to have been identified is to make the computer think the Auto Start/stop button was pressed. The computer doesn't care if it was pressed prior to or after the engine was started.

That being said there are 3 options that have been identified.
1) physical hold the button in ( toothpick takes 2 minutes and is removable, super glue not reversible , ...)
2) disassemble the dash and jumper 2 of the wires on the backside of the switch (Requires dash to be disassemble to return to normal operation)
3) disassemble the dash and connect a toggle type switch in parallel across the 2 switch leads, run the wire behind the dash to the bottom on the dash and mount...(allows you to disable or allow the use of the normal Auto s/s capability.

I tried to fashion a mini door stop out of black rubber but it wasn't hard enough so I went with the toothpick and don't think it looks all that bad.

FORe Scan is the solution here, we just need to find someone who knows the proper coding to fix it.

Actually just disable the battery monitoring system using the FORScan code I added to the spreadsheet under will disable auto/start stop and always keep the powerpoint sockets on when you need them.

Disable the seatbelt minder bell and do not wear seat belt. It will not shut off. I also live in a state where seatbelts are not required for those over 18.

Sidenote: Auto Stop/Start is automatically deactivated when you drive in Sport Mode.

I did it this way. So easy!!!

Don't waste time with taking your dash apart or a connector on the trailer lights/brake.

I did the jumper wire in the connector method before finding out about the Forscan.

IIRC Auto Start/Stop is still enable while in Sport Mode. It's disabled in Tow/Haul mode.
