Default Dimmer Notification In Cluster

I was playing with the dimmer switch this weekend and now every time I start the truck, it shows my dimmer level. Is this something new? I could swear it did not show up until after I changed the settings!

From the manual,

I read this as if it is on auto, you won't get the message.

I've set mine to Auto and it still shows when I start the truck.

I have the regular XLT/FX4 cluster... I checked today and there are no settings to adjust the dimming. I even verified that my MFT illumination settings were still on Auto (which they were).

It's not a problem, it is just a little odd that it did not do that before, and now it does. I have it turned up all the way.

Sometimes mine does this and other times it does not, can't figure out why it's doing it...and it's doen it or not done it without me touching any buttons...

Keep mine turned down as low as possible while still being able to see it...cuts down on the ambient lighting noise, people can't see inside as easily (sniper check sir) & does not wipe out my night vision as bad....
