Default DeeZee Bumer Step

Anyone have the DeeZee bumper step. Looks easy to install and not overpriced like AMP or Bestop steps?

is that thing welded in place?! may not be a good idea, esp when it's backed it up into an object. I would check out the AMP flip down one. I prefer it over the tailgate step.

I looked at AMP but like this one better. It is fixed right under bumper, attaches with 2 bolts from bumper, easy install.

I have the AMP through Amazon and my 60 year old body loves it. I like how it is easy to drop down and put back up underneath the bumper for storage. It does not hang down. Yes it is pricey but the price is minuscule compared to how much I spent with my drop in DualLiner, the tri-fold cover, and Weathertech floor protection and storage items. I wish I had something to grab when climbing or descending from the cargo box.

That thing will get stuck everywhere. Get the AMP Research one. I got one and it's worth every penny.

I agree with the others, having this stick out all the time is asking for trouble. I have the Amp Research and love it. Tucks under the truck very nicely. It is a little pricy for what it is, but in the grand scheme of things compared to the price of the truck, not so bad. But if you like this one, go for it!

Another vote for the Amp Research step. If fits very close to the bumper when not deployed. There is another deployable step from a brand called Bestop or something like that that is a little cheaper but it sticks down too much when tucked under the bumper.

After some thoughtful comments I am going to get one of the fold up ones, bestop or amp research.
