Default Deer damage

Well deer smacks the side of my truck anyone else experience this kind of damage and what they were quoted to fix? 2015 xlt with 155k miles looks like definitely front door maybe back door and the bottom rocker has small
damage and very small dents on pillar behind doors. Waiting for insurance to let me know what they think but just trying to get other information thanks!

Never had a deer run into my truck but my ex bro in law had one run into him on his Harley.
Antler punctured his lung, bike was messed up pretty bad.

Insurance co. estimates are dependent on the company and coverage. Every estimate I've ever had was on point and accepted by the shop doing the work.

Hardest thing is to find a competant shop that does good work, won't keep it for 2 mos. to do a 5 day repair, and will accept the estimate that the ins. co provides.

I got Tboned in the same area. Both doors will be replaced, bedsides repaired, and a dent in the rocker just behind rear door, complete repaint on right side, $5500.
They will likely just go ahead and replace your doors as well.
The same side of mine was visited by a suicidal deer about a year ago. Not as bad, but still replaced the rear door.

How many miles does your truck have? What did they quote the actual cash value being?

$5000.00 damage to the '07, $2500.00 to the '15, and the latest $6500.00 to the '20 Explorer. Yours being 11 years old and 155,000 miles they may total it.

My truck has 35000 on it, and as far as cash value, I really don't know. It's a 2020, so value is undoubtably much more than $5500, off the top of my head, I'd say at least 28-30K
I have a very good shop that does all my work, accident damage and custom work both, so I'm on a very good relationship with the owner. Plus, living where I do in a depressed area, my prices are likely less than yours.
So, you haven't gotten an estimate yet?

Your insurance company seems to be different than mine. It's up to me to get an estimate, my body shop sends it to them, then the insurance company reviews it and OK's the repair. Your insurance company tells you the estimate?
