I’ve hit 2, one in the ‘07, and the other in the ‘15 F150. Early in the morning, and coming out of nowhere. Most deer strikes are a parts un-bolt and bolt affair with a little paintwork. Do you have a preferred body Shop? Good luck with the repairs.

I hit a buck a couple of months after getting my new truck. Very similar damage to yours, although it was on the driver's side. The assessor estimated about $6600 to repair it and the actual cost eventually came to just over $7000.

I agree that you should make sure OEM parts are used. Also, when you take delivery, do a really good inspection of the paint work and assembly (seams between panels, etc.) and make sure they figure in an alignment after the repair. (Don't accept the body shop saying 'we drove it a bit and it felt fine to us.')
