I imagine If you have a Platinum as opposed to an XLT time left not started might be different. Alarms Ford pass all use more juice.

Yea, my concern voiced comes from a buddy who wasted two AGM batteries in a year before he figured out it was his $5.00, 2 amp "trickle" charger that pushed voltage constantly. Do not want to see others run into that unnecessary expense.

Well if thats true and have no reason to not believe it, then this is another one of those annoying message features which means nothing if the truck actually starts.
I suppose reducing unnecessary battery draws is a good thing if the battery has a low enough voltage.
It would be good to know what that trigger voltage is to display that message.

But my previous post still stands for those with re-occuring Deep Sleep Mode messages.

Once a vehicle is removed from Transportation Mode it cannot be re-enacted.

Below is from a Ford document that deals with the Battery Management System and battery charging. It is my only reference to Transportation Mode.
Thank you for posting this battery/storage document. I do have a question, is it ok to drive the truck when in transport mode? which is what I did today, I did an 12 mile country road cruise at 40 miles per hour and maintained at 2-3rpm, pushed it to 4 rpm once for about 8 seconds. The truck was seriously sluggish...but after exiting transport mode, it completely woke up. But did I damage it during the 10 miles?

yeah dealer is full of **** - warranty group needs to crack a service manual on occasion.

Deep sleep as someone else said comes on after some period of time - I think 10 days give or take. it's to save the battery and what it should do - key unlock (button or key in door) - door open trigger interior lights. should wake it up and it might be slow to start. Unfortunately what can happen. Deep sleep shuts the ECU off if I recall correctly, so it can take a moment to start - but if the battery is really low when it happens - car has to be jumped off.

issue is that body control module is the only thing left on that I recall - which is why the delay. doubt it would even click.
