Default Decent Price?

I haven't been looking but for the hell of it I called the salesman I bought my truck off of and asked what he could do on xlt sport package . He tells me to hang on and he'll call me back in a few. Calls back and says best he can do is $36,830. I only asked about the truck and did not talk numbers so there has been no negotiation. Do you think there's anymore room on this?

that's damn near 9k off. Might be another grand or two wiggle room if you go in there and grind them out. My 302a non-sport at the time I got it (september) stickered up around 43 I think, and had I bought instead of leased I could have gotten it for 35 as I recall.

I got $13,600 off MSRP my XLT sport.

That was with $1500 in private offers...so you need to get on calling for a brochure. My MSRP was higher than that too.

With zero private offers and rebates only, personally I'd want to see about $11,500 off sticker on that.

The price he gave me is whats listed on the website and supposedly only if I finance threw Ford. I'm also not sure if I want the 2.7 as I tow a 33ft camper. My 2012 has the 5.0 so maybe with the lighter weight it will it feel the same power wise?

Keep your 2012 if it works for you pulling your 33' camper. They're have been a few on the forums who traded for a 15 and had regrets. Enough so to trade again for an F250. Now it wasn't pulling power they complained of, they had other issues, check for yourself. Now if you feel lucky?

As far as price, 12k off is normal in these parts for an XLT.

I paid $36.8K two weeks ago for my XLT. Sticker price was $47K and change. I did not finance through Ford. I think I could have gotten them a bit lower if the truck had been on the lot, but they had to bring it in from a dealership in another region.

If I was towing a camper that big, I'd get the 3.5 EB or the 5.0.

I'm in the same boat. Looking at a XLT screw 4x4 5.0 MSRP @ $46,700. Hoping to get them down to $34k before taxes somehow. Possibly going to test drive it this weekend to get a feel for it.

I haven't seen alot of the 6.5 beds on the lots in my city. Tons of ecoboost short beds, hardly any 5.0's on that matter. Thought I heard of an issue here with the 6.5 frames?

On a lot with 170 F-150s, I didn't see a single 6.5' SuperCrew, and probably 80% of the trucks were 2.7 EcoBoosts.

I'm going in Saturday for a test drive to see what I think about it.
