Default Decal Removal

I recently purchased some grey/black FX4 decals to match my truck a little more to my liking. Anyone got any good recommendations to make the process smooth. I have heard park it in the sun for heat to help remove the old decals.

Yes, that will work. Hair dryer works, just don't get it too hot. I did mine on a warm day... nothing else needed.

No metal blades of any sort. Use a plastic scraper or gently use you fingernail to get an edge started and then just use your fingers to pull off the stickers. If there is any residue goo gone works well as does WD-40.

Be sure and clean well and I would suggest to use a polish to clean anywhere you might have slopped cleaning up any residue (if there was any)

It's actually much easier than I've made it sound, especially new stickers.

I waited almost a year before I made my mind up......left the truck in the sun for a day, pulled the corner up with a fingernail an slowly pulled it right offf.....a little glue remained on one corner of the decal and a little gentle rubbing with my fingers removed it.

Hair dryer. Done that dozens of times. Warm it up nicely and just peel off. Use a good cleaner to get any sticky adhesive off that may be left over ( the better the job you do warming it up, the less adhesive will be left on the truck )

"Goof-Off" available at any auto parts store is the best for any adhesive or adhesive residue removal.
