Default Decal Removal

I'm sure this has been covered, but have trouble with the search on this site.
New truck, just built, is it safe to heat with hair dryer, or use a decal removal product? Or should I wait a while?

I'd hate to ruin a fresh paint job.

I had the dealer remove mine at delivery. Others here have done it with either a hair dryer or heat gun on low. Just peels off. With mine there was 0 evidence of it after removed.

The sooner you remove them the easier they come off.

Easy on the heat.... just use your fingers. If there is any residue Goo Gone works
great. Just be sure and wash it when you're done if you use any.

If you are removing the ford decals (4x4, sport, etc) you can get $40 on ebay if you list them.

I pulled mine of after about 4 months, pulled at the corners and they came right off with only a small bit of residue around the edges.

I've always just pulled them off with no heat. They come right off. Especially on a new truck.

Curious, are you suggesting to post the decal on eBay? After you pull it off? Every decal i have ever removed is junk, and not reusable
