Dear Ford

I have a serious problem with the dealer "al tayer motors" in the UAE Sharjah branch, i have recently purchased a 2015 f-150 xlt sport package and it already had 250km on it, being my first truck i ever purchased they told me this is normal because they were "testing it" and later relised from the forums and other sources that this was complete bull.

After 2 weeks of driveing my new truck i started to notice alot of problems:
1. Very noticeable and noisy window noise from both sides (especially on the right side)
2. Very bad vibration in the steering wheel when i put on the brakes
3. Strange noises from the engine after 8000km
4. Clunk noise when entering my garage and similar places
5. Brakes sometimes have a squeaky noise
6. Stuttering when at very low speeds (in traffic)
7. And other strange stability and vibration issues

Took the truck back to the dealer and they sent a guy with me on a test drive and noticed and acknowledged all the issues i had, and said hell sort them out.
Now this is what really got me angry:
After 6 days i went back to the dealer to pick up my truck and he clearly said that he sorted out the problems like fixing the door alignment and cleaning the brake disks.
After driveing my truck I relised that NOTHING has been done and it was exactly the same!
I went back a few days later directly to the same person who "fixed" my truck and his excuse was:
You wanted your truck quickly so i didnt finish.........

I wont even explain how angry i was and how he lied on fixing my truck!
And the service is extremely bad, i asked for the manager and none knows where he is?? Lol realy? And i keep calling after i left and the manager never answers.
Now what???

If i get a full refund I probably would i didn't expect ford services would be this bad here.

Bad dealer. Go somewhere else. Did you get your satisfaction survey yet? Give them all zeros. Have you called Ford 1-800 Customer sevice? Do your research on the new Chevy Shakearado before you jump ship so soon. My truck was a test truck out of the factory. There was little cards in the glove box, owners manual, showing the miles driven and the the testers name and signature.

So what did you do when you found out you got a test truck?

Hi,

250 km on a brand new truck??? this is crazy..

I would send an official complain to the Consumer Protection Department in the Ministry of Trade and Commerce. It's worth going through the trouble.
