Was underfilled by this much minus less say 50ml that I spilled/ran out of the hole. About 1/3 of a quart on a 2.9 quart fill capacity.

This is BS, I’d call them out on it. This is exactly why the general public has such a tainted view and opinion of dealerships.

I complained to Ford Corp, called the service manager and left a detailed yelp review.

He mentioned this was a good tech. I guess he meant by billable hours not the guy who solves the hardest problems.

When you pad your repair orders this isn’t hard to do.

This is all I can do, not worth getting into a confrontation at the dealership.

I am taking my truck to another dealer Monday to fix a leaking front wheel bearing seal they completely missed.

They were quick to try and sell me a rear brake job at 25k miles, pads at 2mm fronts 8mm.

When I do the pads I will most likely suck the diff fluid out and replace it with Mobil 1 or Redline 75w90.

I had a service manager ask me why I was sitting in the lobby at 8 am while they were working on my truck. I said the waiting room is full. he actually went back and checked and said there were a few seats. I said is there a problem. he said no. they charged me 200 to tell me nothing is wrong with my truck. Turns out my fan blade was missing a fin which I found. they also wrote on the side of my truck with a grease pencil " new customer" Had to use rubbing compound to get it off. If I ever see that service manager Im going to hip throw him on his face. Never went back

That front wheel bearing is considered a seep, which is not needing replacement according to warranty. A leak is considered a leak, when fluid is dripping on the ground in order to be a warrantable leak. So they saw that wheel bearing, but did not replace it because it is not considered a leak.

I had the same thing happen with another brand. Replaced pinion seal under warranty, pinion bearings failed about a year later.
Your crush sleeve was not replaced, they just popped out the old seal, popped in the new one.
Your pinion bearings will fail!
