Default Daytime running lights

I work at a Ford dealership where we updated the BCM as-built data to turn the DRLs off when the lights are turned on. This is a Ford FSA 20C03. The customer wants it back to the original where the DRLs stay on with the lights. What line of code in as built-data do we need to change to accomplish this? Thanks for your help.

20C03 is an NHTSA compliance recall, I don't think Ford would want you walking that back once completed.

What he said. And the recall doesn't turn off the DRLs, it just dims them when the headlamps are on to reduce glare to a compliant level.

Don't we all feel better knowing that dealership techs come on here to get info from the laymen?

To be fair, we 'specialize' in one vehicle. They're supposed to know their way around multiple, hard to learn all the ins and outs of any one type of vehicle

I tend to believe I know more about my own vehicles than the dealership does, and tbh I should because it's my vehicle. I've never understood owners who blindly trust dealerships to figure out and fix issues with their vehicles. But to each his own.

I will agree to a certain extent, and there are definitely folks on here who flat out know more about F150s than I would ever expect any dealership tech to know, but don't the dealerships also tout the reason to go to them over DIY or a different shop is because their techs are trained specifically on Ford vehicles, F150s being one of those vehicles, and the extra cost to have a dealership service something is worth it because of this specific knowledge and training?

I realize I have taken this thread off course and am probably being too critical of the OP (and dealerships in general) and am not helping him in his question, but there is some humor to the situation.
