Default Dash warp update

Any updates on what Ford is doing about the dash warping? Last I heard is that as of about two months ago they began telling dealers not to replace dashes while a fix was being worked on.

Still current situation. I wouldn't bank on them ever fixing it.

I doubt that a fix will come. They will likely address this at the next interior make over. Perhaps in 2020/2021

Don't look too closely and get fixated on it. It will drive you nuts. I also agree they will likely never fix it.

My 2018 warping as well. If Ford refuses to fix them I can see a class action lawsuit.

You might as well get a dash cover.

A dash cover is worse looking than the dash warping.

Living in the desert and dealing with the extreme heat, a dash cover is mandatory.
It protects the dash and prevents cracking as well as reducing the heat radiating into an all ready hot interior.

A dash cover reduces the reflection of the dash back up into the drivers line of sight on the windshield.

A dash cover also provides for a nice location for a spare ball cap, and the wife's nic knacks she collects during our travels.

Around here, those that do not have a dash cover, will usually throw a towel on the dash. Now that's tacky.

It's not warping it was warped from the factory and it was like that when you got it. Go walk the lot of a Ford dealer and every truck will have it, some worse than others but they are all like that from the factory.
