Default Dark Mode

I have a 2018 F-150 XLT that I have made many changes to with Forscan. Has anyone tried to do the "Dark Mode" Forscan change? I have gone through the changes repeatedly, first enabling, then after no change, disabling. Reset BCM module, still no results. I even tried this on my 2013 F-250, and it worked. But not on my F-150. I have conferred with the Forscan Guru, and he has run out of answers too. Livinitup said he didn't know of anyone who has had the negative results that I have. Does anyone in the vast F150Forum.com world have any suggestions? Another name for Dark Mode is Police Dark Car.

I thought "Dark Mode" was called something else now for 2018...I remember reading about it because this is something I'd like to do. I don't have the testicular fortitude to delve into ForScan yet, however. Maybe when I'm out of warranty...

No lights what so ever when you open up the truck or press the fob.

Dark mode doesn't work on 18+.

There is another option (there's like 5 of the same named options... #5 is the one you want) but it suppresses *every-damn-thing*. No confirmation flash on lock (whereas in the past it was a dim/shorter flash), etc.

I did not use Forscan to do the change to Surveillance Mode ( I did it with my Scan Tool Autel MaxySys , I prefer to use scan tool to do some changes and forscan for other.) I hated it ! No lights what so ever ( if I remember correctly the only thing that lit up was 4 inch display on my cluster when door was open, its pain in the *** when its night outside.
I switched it back to normal next day. If you would not be so far away from me I would let you use my Scan Tool. See if you can find some one who has one in your neighborhood. Its very simple with Scan Tool

What's the difference between using a Scan Tool and ForScan? I'm rehashing this post because I want to know if there are any updates to enabling "Dark Mode" or "Surveillance Mode" or...whatever it's called now for the '18+ models. Looking around the interwebs, it appears that the Ranger's are doing it successfully, yet still no love for the F150's, that I've found, at least...

with Scan Tool making changes is alot easier. It's written in a plaine English. You select an option and hit program. For example changing tire size. Scan tool gives you all the options in tire sizes. And you select the one that you have.
Surveillance mode. You either have it selected on or off.

The easiest way to find out how to do it on F-150 with Forscan is select in options on scan tool to turn ON surveillance mode.
Then compare 2 spreadsheet on with Dark mode ON and one with OFF.
