if the truck violently jumps over bumps in the road and catapults the driver out of the seat.... it should be VERY VERY easy to replicate and show a dealer tech on a test drive...

not exactly sure what the issue is. take it to the dealer and show them how dangerous the truck handles - they'll fix it or you can go to "60 minutes" given that the truck handles so violently and the suspension is a HUUUUGE safety issue...

Grab a set of Rancho 9000XL shocks. I had them on my Xterra and they were awesome. Night and day difference on washboards (And I had my rear sway bar removed). They can be adjusted by just turning a **** on the shock body. It'll take the hopping away for sure once you find the right setting. You can get a pair of them for a couple hundred bucks.

As I posted previously in this thread, the first time it did it, it scared the crap out of me... now I am more prepared for it... It's not even enough for me to go to a dealer to complain about it... it is just something that I noticed. I am just merely backing up someone else's observations.

There are a ton of people on this forum that are quick to dismiss another person's observations or complaints. There are also plenty of people like myself that have been driving trucks (off-road and on the highway) and racing vehicles on the dragstrip for years and we know when something isn't right.

And there are those of us who have driven trucks for decades and don't have that issue.
Interesting.

Interesting.
no doubt... that's why someone (not me.. I don't have the time for it) needs to compile some type of spreadsheet to try an narrow down the commonalities.

Short wheelbase? FX4 package? 3.5 v 2.7 v 5.0? 2015 v 2016?

I don't claim to have answers.. I just know that it has happened to me.

something else... some have brought up washboard roads... I don't have the issue with washboard roads... only single bumps... and living in South Louisiana, with the roads in New Orleans (pothole capital of the world) there are plenty of opportunities.

There's washboard roads that are more like rumble strips, and then there's holy effin hell my wheels are gonna fall off... This one road I take is not even real pavement, it's like tar rock just laid down and always gets huge holes and humps on it. Winter time is bad on that one when it's slippery. So some guys saying washboard roads are fine, are probably not driving on the worse ones out there...

yeah... our washboard roads down here are usually shell roads on the way to boat launches that get graded twice a year, but within a week of getting graded, as soon as the first rain hits, the washboard starts, and just gets worse and worse. It starts out as the "rumble strip" that you speak of, and then just ends up being potholes.... at that point, I don't consider it washboard anymore, it's a minefield.

I would still opt for the Rancho 9000XL's. They're cheaper than Fox, they're easily adjustable with a ****, and they have a lifetime warranty. I never had any issues with mine, they were awesome.
