Default Damage Strut After Leveling?

Please let me know your opinion or experience if the 2" leveling kit caused the plastic inside the strut/spring broken.
See the orange part of the front stock suspension in pictures below.
There's a double "tick" sound when turning left or right in the quite parking garage.

no, both of my fronts appeared to look the same when I took mine out to install my 2 inch level.

I also do not have a double tick noise though, you may want to just raise up the truck and remove the wheel and check all of the suspension to see if anything is loose or touching/rubbing

So this OEM suspension is not that good? The OEM strut/suspension is less than $100 but the installation cost us a lot plus alignment I believe.

Hopefully, the dealer do the front suspension replacement with the leveling kit on it if I have to go on them.

Who installed the leveling kit?

Could a pry bar been used on/through the spring and this is the result?

Apparently not. I installed the Bilstein 5100 kit this weekend and two of my stock shocks were blown with less than 35k miles on them. I posted about it here and apparently it is not uncommon. So yeah, I'd say the stock stuff is pretty cheap and sucks in general.

Local shop did the level 2 years ago, not the dealer. I noticed plastic crack last week.
I set an appointment to my local shop for inspection this weekend. Let's see what they'll say.

Update:

I upgraded to Bilstein 5100 struts and removed the leveling kits.
