Default Custom tunes

Hello I just bought a sct tuner and looking to buy some custom tunes. I have the 2.7 ecooboost with 37 tires and 7 inch lift. From what I was reading the 5star tunes are a waste of money. For my tunes I'm def looking for a performance tune and a economy tune. I've notice some people mention SSI and was wondering if anyone has any experience with them or someone one else?

I use Livernois since 2012 and I am very satisfied. The service is perfect and the migration to a new vehicle is free. The power is amazing!

I have a question about my 2013 3.5 fx4 ecoboost. I installed a k&n high flow filter on it with the tubing, first time doing this. now when I mash on the gas it makes a weird noise as if the turbos cant handle all the air or maybe cant exhaust it fast enough with the stock exhaust? can anyone help? maybe this is normal not sure?

My 2.7L is tuned by MPT 93 Octane Performance/Tow. They still have not released these tunes yet. I have run mine for over 6K miles with no issues. Always revert back to stock when having service by dealer (oil changes). I always go back to the MPT tune.
Loaded the canned SCT 93 tune to compare it to the MPT and it was not good. Could not notice much difference from stock.
If MPT every releases the 2.7L tunes go for it.

Nice yeah I just checked they still haven't released those tunes yet unfortunately. I'm stuck with 5star or ssi for now

I inquired about MPT tunes for the 2.7.....not available to general public yet.

Currently running 5* no issues on the 2.7 ...would like to try couple of others.

Ssi has the most gains by far and seem to have the 2.7 dialed in. I suggest going to his forum if you have questions and he and others can help.

Otherwise mpt is ok. Not as smooth or powerful as ssi imo.
