Here is my breakdown of the official update:

SYNC 3.0.18025
Made public March 17, 2018

Definitely not included = Nav Licences or Map data.

Item1 = HB5T-14G386-THA = UNKNOWN = 25 KB
Item2 = HB5T-14G386-TCB = PARTITION CHECK UTILITY FOR NAV APIMs = 32 KB
Item3 = HB5T-14G386-AHH = UTILITY current version check = 8 MB
Item4 = JR3T-14G391-CD = VOICE = 389 MB
Item5 = JR3T-14G381-AL = APPLICATION / GUI = 440 MB
Item6 = JR3T-14G423-CA = GRACENOTES = 745 MB
Item7 = HB5T-14G387-AAB = UNKNOWN = 6 KB
Item8 = GB5T-14G386-AA = UTILITY (exports an .xml file upon successful update back onto the USB which serves as an error / change log owners can overview) = 44 KB

Unknown files may be anything such as post-compilation emergency bug patches which had to be thrown in, embedded utilities such as file clean up, scripts for anything such as to update accepted licencing info for future map releases or simple new annoying popup prompts we receive upon ignition.

I don't know of any good reason to leave system wifi enabled at all (unless if you have a 2018 with mobile hotspot); however, after you complete any update over USB you will want to enable wifi momentarily to complete a 'scan for updates now' to eliminate one of two annoying popups which will appear upon ignition start.

That's because the unofficial update uses official files and the package sums are identical. If you installed the non nav version of build 18025 I'm even a bit curious if I'm the source lol.

In the autoinstall.lst file I started tagging myself to track where my files actually go when I send them out to friends. It would look like this but no red:

;Gen 3 - Assembly Update - NonNav/NA - 18025 - FRASER

However you managed to install 18025 before March 17, 2018, I'd say there is nothing to worry about.

Read this, doing this right now myself. The first part succeeded, attempting 3.0 install now.

**EDIT**

Successfully flashed 3.0 Non-Nav. If you're having issues follow the link above, should help in clean flashing 3.0

JR3T-14G391-BD =1.53 GB is my voice

3 usb drives now and the update won't start with any of them. Nothing happens when I plug it in to either of the two ports in the dash cubby.

The file I am using is right from my owner's site for my F-150 and I extracted them to a 32gb drive newly formatted as exFat. I feel like I am missing something or is the update process just that picky about drives?

Also this is the first time Ive ever seen a .zip file from Fords server. Ive never seen the updates so neatly packaged for us like this.

Thanks Ford!
HB5T-14G387-AAB is not in the non-nav 18025 I have. Only 7 items in non-nav.
