Just do a web search for the file and you can find it. I do not share these files. The Mustang sync 3 thread received a legal action notice from Ford not too long ago to terminate their Sync 3 thread partially for that very reason and I dont want to invite Ford to shut down this thread too or sue me for distributing their intellectual property, so I simply dont. I listed the file name and the build version which is sufficient info for anyone here to find it on their own if they want to test it.

You will need knowledge of ForScan to program certain things and fine tune the new one to your particular vehicles options, other than that Id say it is moderately easy. Ive put three Sync 3 units in different 2015 F150s. It is pretty straight forward. Given the cost involved though, I would say that what you want to do is very unreasonable given the fact that you will gain nothing other than the knowledge of how to do it and be around $1000 poorer.

If you still want to try though, I would be happy to buy your 2017 APIM from you when you are done.

If you are really worried about space you can always delete grace notes and free up 2.2GB instantly.

3.2 needs a different partition structure for an OEM install to work, not necessarily extra space. Other hardware differences are tbd but 3.2 runs fine on older hardware with the right modification. If you want 64gb of faster nand than stock, I can upgrade you to that too if it makes you feel better

changes are as follows..in 18025..we have some friends who reported successful attempts

1. sound quality improvement over older versions especially build 17276
2. improvements/bug fixes for voice recognition
3. bug fix over ios 11.2.5 with applink connectivity issues
