Did Sync module and Master resets, tried each port in both the original USB Hub and the new one for CarPlay. I've left them plugged in from 30 minutes to almost 2 hours while driving and no matter what I try I get the same thing. The banner at the top saying "Updating System Software". And when I unplug the thumb drive and restart I get the "installation Failed" error that says not enough space or the wrong version. I'm at a complete loss. I'm going to try to chat with ford again tomorrow and see what they say.

I did not have the "bad installation" error, but it did not finish the update after a half hour, either :\

For those of you having install issues, did you miss this part? I only have a 16GB USB and don't really want to go buy a 32GB just for this install. Anyone use less than 32GB and have a successful install?

Interesting, I wonder why Ford says 32gb minimum.

This is what I have on the MyFord site. I didn't see the part about needing a 32gb stick.

I installed the 2.2 update about a months ago and now that Ford released their actual version can I update to it or is there really any reason to?

Driving to work this morning suddenly the sync updated. I had restarted numerous times after downloading the update. Must just take awhile. System now says 2.2👍
