Just checked mine and after extracting the zip to a new folder and Yes, it is Read Only.
For what it's worth, when I updated mine, I used ExFat as the file system and it worked correctly the first time. Did you format the thumbdrive before extracting the zip to it?

Yes I have formatted to both FAT32 and EXFat numerous times prior to extracting the zip file. Neither will work.

Maybe a bad download, I verified all the checksums prior to installing the files just to make sure that there would be no issues. If you want, PM me with your email address and I will try to upload them to my Google Drive and you can try to download them again. Just let me know if you want me to upload the files.

Replied to PM. Waiting for it to finish uploading to my Google drive now, about 15 minutes remaining for the upload.

Downloaded both update files you sent. Installation went great.

Not sure what the issue was previously but all appears to be good now. Upon completion, the settings menu even states I have version 2.2

Thank you for your help.

^Glad it worked out for you. From my experience with the update, the only little glitch that I have noticed is that when you press the volume button on the steering wheel, mine shows zero then immediately shows what the volume level actually is. Everything else works great and the voice commands are more accurate when I ask something.

I haven't seen this posted yet. If it is a repost my apologies. This is the Lincoln dealer upgrade procedure. Also gives information on Car Play and Android Auto.

I called my local dealer this morning to order the HC3Z-19A387-B Interface Module. I was told Detroit has 287 in stock and it should arrive in a few days.

When trying to install update #1, I receive a message: Device Detected. Then I immediately after I receive the message Indexing Unknown. Finally I receive a message: Indexing Unknown Complete. Music continues to play, update never starts. Files in the USB Flash drive look like the attached. I have tried 2 different 16 GB Sandisk USB Flash Drives and formatted them both as FAT 32 and EXFAT. Nothing works.

Please point out my error

Suggest you download it directly from this forum. My understanding is virtually everyone who have used this forum has been able to update without issues. Also did you unzip the files to the drive from your computer?
