Hey, nice pics. I have a quick question for you. On the pic you have about the Sync info, after updating, where it displays the version you have. What's your Navigation Version? NA 1 14 or 1 15 or something else?
Just curious, I know this is probably for a different thread, but just wondering what version you have, cause from what I understand, even the newest Nav version is at least 2 years old, or like mine 3, that's on a truck I bought 2 months ago.

I will say too.......don't be surprised when it doesn't go as easily as you see in the video. You should notice the left (driver) side will lift more easily. I find that a great area to get a pry tool "started" under. Then work your way around the thing as best you can....any way you can. It'll be tough, no doubt!
In fact.....if you notice in that youtube video, the guy must've really worked it hard before making the video because you can all the marks around the whole thing and even in the compartment tray.
That metal trim tool would definitely help too as mine were plastic & I need to try 2 of them before I finally got it to pop out.
Just take a breather every couple minutes if you need to. It'll come out eventually.

I'm not sure if it's a problem or not yet, but I upgraded to 2.2 with the USB stick on December 22nd. My system still shows last checked for updates on that day. If I scan for updates, it just spins for a long time and eventually times out. Anyone else having similar issues?

Post #1609 mentions doing a hard screen reboot by holding the power button and the next track button down for 6 seconds (the screen will go black and then reboot). Supposedly after the screen reset it will search for updates in the correct fashion.

I used a tool like the one pictured. Runs $8 for a 4 tool pack at harbor freight.
Put it under the left side and push left to pry it up. Put your finger under the left side and put the tool under the right side. Push right to pry it up. Took less than 15 seconds with the appropriate tool for the job. No bleeding knuckles or scratched up panels.

Thanks, to be honest, that's ridiculous. 2016 truck, with Nav from Jan 2014. And no update on sight (according to here, the ppl that make the Nav maps for Ford) but thanks for the reply.
But at least now with Android Auto, Google maps are up to date.

The pictures are nice since this seems to keep coming up.
