Cruise Control and Sync Problem.
I finally got my truck back to the dealer, and it is now fixed. My cruise and sync buttons now function as they should.
The dealer changed both the SCCM and button packs on both sides (cruise buttons and sync buttons). After changing those parts the issue was fixed. Since they replaced all the parts at the same time I can’t be 100% sure what the cause was. But I’m about 99% sure the issue was from the SCCM. I think that because of the incorrect function of the buttons. If the packs were bad the buttons wouldn’t have worked at all.
Anyway, hopefully this helps someone out. If you have issues with the buttons, the SCCM could be the cause.

Can’t be sure since I didn’t do the work myself. But my guess is no. The way the buttons were operating, it seemed like the programming in the SCCM became corrupt or something. I could always get the cruise buttons to work for a minute or 2, but only if I held the sync button first.
Also the sync button would never work if I pressed it and released immediately. It would only work if I held for a while. Again, programming or software issues rather than hardware.
Seemed like all all connections were fine, but the SCCM didn’t understand how to interpret the inputs from the buttons.
