Just curious, A couple of members of this forum said that COTUS only updates on Thursdays, but it looks like the days left till delivery seems to update daily unless the search engine for VINS's on the COTUS is down.


So are we wasting time looking each day at COTUS if it only updates on Thursdays as it relates to everything, but the remaining days for delivery??

 

My understanding, and I could be wrong, is that VINs are issued on Thursday, but COTUS updates all of the time.

 

I can attest that COTUS changes on other days of the week. Last Monday morning, 12/1, I did not have a VIN according to COTUS, yet in the afternoon COTUS showed a VIN number for the first time.
