Copy and pasted from my account.. Part # FEL-PRO TOS18753

So that number looks correct.. I installed it on my 16 and it worked well... Here is link to what gasket should look like.. It is metal framed and considered reusable. Disregard material=paper because it is not. https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...pt=8612&jsn=28

Cool thanks. I guess it’s not a Motorcraft one like I was hoping.

FelPro is a high end gasket too. I would have no problem using it.

If you want Motorcraft only go to Ford direct. FEL-PRO IMO is an affordable upgrade.. They specialize gasket designing and always at or above OEM specification. There quality control is still top notch from what I have bought anyway.. Like I said as long as that gasket looks like the one in the picture I can assure you it will work.. You will also notice when you remove it that the OE Motorcraft one looks just the same as the FEL PRO.. and technically, according to Ford, you can re-use that gasket if you don't want to change it.. However, I don't recommend this.. Wehn I did mine I didn't want to risk a leak and the FEL PRO replacement was only 20 bucks.

I think it is commonly accepted that the gasket on the 6R80 and 10R80 is reusable.
Also, you can find Motorcraft parts on Rockauto.

I'm sure that Felpro will also be ok but I wouldn't go so far as to say they may exceed OEM quality.

Yeah, Rockauto has been hit or miss lately with Motorcraft stuff and I'm beginning to see less and less...

I will say though, when FEL-PRO finally came out with this HG (the fix, https://www.summitracing.com/parts/fel-26374pt/reviews ) the average used selling price for a 6.0 almost doubled 1-2 years later.. Most Diesel owners that hauled weight got an average of 30k before they would blow through a factory set of HG even with studs.. The guys who still went to Ford got Ford gaskets and the same repeat failures.. Private shops that started using the new (at that time) FEL-PRO then completely stopped using Ford HG all together. As word got around almost all private shops turned to FEL-PRO, at least in all forums I followed.. The ever lasting common complaints about HG failure with the 6 liters started dissipate within the forums as well.. That being said, in this case, I'd say they made a far better gasket and definitely exceeded OEM quality..

I've never had a bad FEL-PRO gasket and only use them. If they don't make it, I buy OEM..

Ok, sounds like you have good experience and evidence of an improvement. I stand corrected, sounds like there are some applications where they designed to address a failure.
