Cooling Seats issue and TSB feedback

Again, we all have different reasons for why and what we spend OUR OWN money on. That's your opinion and I respect it. Good luck on your future purchases, regardless what you buy or your reasons.

Not exactly, Personally, I believe that the big 3 all make good trucks and each has it's good points and it's bad points. The competition is really close and cooled seats are something that would sway my decision, especially if it's a known issue and the manufacturer ignores their customers. Like I said, I'm waiting for a 2016, if it's fixed by then, all well and good, if not...

I wonder if we could start a Lemon Law case on the seats not cooling. I would say this is impairing the value of my truck??? I will ask a few of my lawyer friends. I am sure you can get your truck in at least three times and they will not be able to fix this. LOL

You could, but worthless in my opinion since they appear to be working on this issue. Its not a life or death like the bliss issue, so it does not require their immediate fix, Couple that with the fact that they are working on 16's now and its just not a priority.
What they should be sued over is the defective ac systems they intentionally dumbed down in say, 10-14 models for fuel economy.

I live in Phoenix, AZ where it's devils hot here and I agree with you on this, your decision shouldnt be based off the seats. Granted I really really really wish mine would work, but I wouldnt return the truck and go with a competitor just because of the seats. Luckily the AC in these new 2015's is outstanding and keeps the cabin nice and cool.

Nope, but we have determined that on the trucks with poor performance ac's that it is apparently being controlled within the pcm to cycle at a higher temperature rate.
We have done testing to disable control of the ac compressor via an IDS system and also via 3rd party resistors, we are then able to get our systems to perform correctly.
It is believed that in the 10-14 models, increase in MPGs were necessary so adjusting the AC was Fords direction to help accomplish for café standards. With the change in 2015's to aluminum, the lighter bodies allowed them to return the ac systems to a lower cycle point without impacting MPG's.

The problem is voiding your warranty doing this. Ford seems very quick on wanting to get out of a warranty issue whenever they can...
Or I would have already fixed it myself.
