Living in the NW, it is now getting cooler, so I'll continue using the AC seats during the winter months , then convert next year when it heats up again.

My dealer said the same thing on my 2016 Lariat. It was also a cooler day when I took the truck in.

Holy cow Ford. This is disgusting.

I am going to buy another truck from them and just out of spite when I get them to their lowest price I am gonna say oh yea and you have to buy me this kit from this guy on a forum and install it before I take delivery. You know to fix your crappy seats.....

This question has probably been answered but: How hard is the seat cooler fix on a scale of 1-10? I'm tired of my back sweating!!

I wouldn't go that far,,, but if we all went to all our near by dealers and insisted on taking one last test drive just before signing the papers on the trucks we had the dealers bring in from 200 miles away, and spent four hours haggling over the OTD price. And after telling him you read on the internet how bad the seat back cooling was and wanted to check that it worked to your satisfaction and then walking out after it because the seats suck sure might help Ford see this problem..

Not bad really. But be carefull, there are VERY sharp metal edges inside the seat. and make sure you have a T6 or T7 driver available. They are very small.

I may have missed this, but has anyone done a video of the installation process? I'm sure much of what the PDF shows is clear when you are doing it, but I'm having a hard time understanding exactly what this takes to complete by just reading the instructions at this point. I think a video showing everything would be very helpful, as I would love to do this to my truck as well. Not cold on the seat back at all for me.

Wish I could...

I do have a guy that is going to do a better write up and information for me (once I get him his kit). Dang printer being down....

Good news is I was able to talk the printer manufacturer into running some parts to help catch me up
