Default Coolant Leak help

Hi all,

2017 lariat and yesterday I noticed when I went to fill the windshield fluid the coolant was very low in the tank reservoir!

I've noticed no leaks anywhere....

Will call ford tomorrow but in he mean time are coolant leaks common?

Also I went to a local auto parts store here on a Sunday and couldn't find the exact cool specification number. they were selling the "b44-D" but not one with "b44-d2" specifications and I don't want to mess up the coolant.

They are common on the 09-14 trucks. Make sure you feel around all the hose connections, with your bare hand or in a latex type glove. That way you can see any wetness. On the previous gen it came from the overflow bottle hose, at the elbow and the Y connector.

Depending on where you're located (temp wise) you could top it off with some distilled water. If you're somewhere cold, just do it before a long drive, that way the water doesn't freeze in the bottle.
