Default Convert Halogen to LED

Ok I've searched a ton and have a bunch of options but my question is:

What is the most cost effective way to convert Halogen to LEDs in both high and low beam? And will last long term.

I'd love OEM housings but that costs a fortune. I've seen retrofit source kits, $400 bulbs, etc.

Cheapest? $20 Amazon bulbs. Problem? LED's are too big, don't mimic halogen filaments, and leak light everywhere, blinding other people.

Easiest plug and play? The Diode Dynamics bulbs, or ones with that type and size of LED's. They can be found for less I know, from different people, but I have the DD on my truck and have never been flashed. (LB, HB, Fogs)

Diode dynamics were designed using the 15-17 f150 headlight. They are by far the best headlight out there for our truck, also they are American made.
