Holy mother of zombie threads.
Hey folks I had a need to start doing more tractor work and our gooseneck trailer and tractor comes in at 9700. I found a steal of a deal on a loaded 2012 scab fx4 max tow 3.5. It tows that gooseneck like a dream.

have you lost your mind??? unless you have the ability to completely raise the entire cab off the frame and completely out of the way (ford's only method used when doing anything in the engine bay) you had better mentally prepare yourself to be head first with your feet sticking out and up into the air for every damn fix you do. picture crowd surfing at a concert if the crowd was hard uneven angular objects that only were capable of jutting into ur ribs and hip bones. and you will literally have your feet up in the air completely off the ground, trust me. I do all my own wrenching on my 5.0 and I have a meltdown during the course of whatever I'm doing, every single time. but I absolutely love my truck and it really is a beast off roading machine 2018 screw with 6 inch lift and 35 inch tires fox shocks new leaf pack with 4 leaves and all of it done myself with equal levels of rage every time at some point.
