Connector problem
**Update**
We'll gents, thanks for the replies and who knows how it happened, it could be either one of the replies. The dealer has notified me that they are going to replace that whole harness. I'm not too thrilled about that because they have to take out the whole dashboard. It's like I told the service guy, u can fix it but if they don't figure out where the moisture/water came from, it's possible to happen again.

As the dealer to use dielectric grease on the connectors when they replace the harness. That would keep moisture out of the connector. It's used with trailer connectors, among other connections, to make them as close to waterproof as possible.
Many have reported a leak from a leaky sun roof or water coming into the moon roof that gets into the pillar and runs down to the harness in question. A misaligned door seal may do the same. There are many people reporting alignment issues with doors so I would also suspect a seal issue.
