Connecting Phone

Connecting Phone
I just got a 2015 F150. I am trying to change the background on the 8" screen. I have an iPhone 6 and when I connect the phone via USB and try to load the picture it says "phone not connected". Does anyone know what may be causing this??? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Not sure why the phone is not connecting but as far as I know, you cannot change the background on the 8" screen. Using Forscan, you may be able to get the Lincoln logo to show up but I think it will reset when you restart the vehicle. There is a thread somewhere on it.
Good luck getting the phone connected, may want to just turn bluetooth off on the cell and then turn it back on and try to connect.

I appreciate the response. There are a lot of threads on here talking about the backgrounds and people saying they changed them. I tried to turn off and turn on Bluetooth but that didn't work. It is also connected with a USB cable.

I believe you need to load the pics on a USB thumbdrive. Not a phone!

If you have Sync 2 you can change the wallpaper but you have to do it from a USB drive.
From what I have read here, if you have Sync 3 you can't change the wallpaper.
