Default Condensation on inside front windshield

Have condensation on windshield and cannot figure out why. Last year I had the issue of water leak from pano sunroof. Headliner wet, down pillars to floor being soaked. Pulled the passenger headliner down to see the front passenger sunroof drain did not have the rubber drain hose connected. Cleared the remaining drains and was dry all year. I don’t think it is this again because no wetness anywhere in truck I can feel. Original windshield also. 2016 Platinum. Any help?

Great suggestion. I just went and wiped the windshield with a white rag. It was clear and no smell to it. However, with freezing temps now the passenger door handle was frozen and I could not move it. I opened the rear door and the running board slid out and had a puddle of water on it. I can only assume there is a leak again from the sunroof and water is either not draining from the drains or water is in door and not draining.

I had the same issue with condensation on the inside of my windshield. It ended up being a crack in the windshield clear down by the windshield wiper where you couldn't see it without leaning clear over the steering wheel and looking down and even then it was barely seen. But it was enough to let water in any time it got wet. I had the window replaced and the issue has been resolved! Just a thought.

Good luck.

Pull up the scuff plates and run your hand under the carpet. You have water in there somewhere. Pretty often, you might not even know it if it's beneath the carpet. Scuff plates just pop right up. Get your fingers around the edges and just pull.
