Default Condensation causing led mayhem...

Took my 2015 through the car wash the other day and on the way home after work I noticed some flickering coming from the right side. I was thinking maybe it was the new led fog lights I installed the week before. Got home and realized it was the headlight that was doing it. Then noticed the condensation inside the lower half of the light enclosure. As I'm looking at it the led goes out completly. I hit the top(with the hood up) and it comes back on then more flickering. Next day I head to the dealer and notice in the reflection that its out again. When I get back in to pull it into the service bay so they can get my info I notice now it's back on along with the highbeam. They took a couple pics and my info and said they'll send it up north for approval. Seems cut and dry(no pun intended) since it's shorting the lights out. Any thoughts?

Got news back this morning saying Ford denied the claim even though it's causing the headlight to stop working.

Ffs.... I have been seeing trucks with lights that flicker, including ours. If ford won't fix it then what?

They told me to come back in so they can take better pictures to try and resubmit it. We'll see what happens...

I have heard of guys having issues with moisture in their rear housings too. That issue caused failure of the BLISS system.

I also put in a complaint that the LED lights do not produce enough heat to melt ice/snow off the lens during could weather driving. I could hardly see the one day because there was so much build up of ice and snow on them.

That is one downfall to LED headlights. I had some awesome ones on my Jeep but they also got covered in ice in the winter. After market companies started to add heating elements on the housings, I thought Ford would have been smart enough to do that as well but I guess they are not that smart after all.

if everything is as it came from the factory and they are denying your claim, I'd be raising a stink w/ ford customer service.
