Default Complete Loss of Power!?

So this is happening as i have time...waiting for the tow truck. I'm about 180 miles from home on 68 and the truck just looses all power. I was able to get it to the side of the road. It was still running but all dash lights etc out and a clicking noise coming from outside, almost like abs but could not feel it in the pedal. I checked everything. Nothing loose. Nothing. Turned ignition off and everything was dead. The only thin that works is the lock/unlock on the key fob. No hazards! I disconnected the battery for a bit and then hooked everything back up. Now gauge lights and hazards are working but nothing else. WTF????? I'm waiting on a tow truck to take it to a dealer in Morgantown WV. 200 miles from my house. Roadside assistance said they would not get to it until next Thursday?? Does anyone have an idea about what the problem might be?

Maybe an alternator issue? Did you try having anyone jump-start you?

"oh sir, your tune messed up the engine's computer, may I have your CC number to authorize the repairs, please?", or you know, something along those lines.

Just dropped off at dealer. The said it sounds like a bcm module thats gone bad. Nothing tuning would cause. They also said that they'd look at it Friday.

I should clarify that Ford said the dealer was booked until next Thursday. The roadside assistance was ok.

That's a real bonus from Ford the day before Thanksgiving!

Fords been replacing lots of different modules it seems, along with wiring harnesses, hopefully they just got a bad batch.

Hopefully they will get it fixed by Christmas!

There was a dude that fried his BCM while uploading a tune recently. Ford fixed it under warranty.
