Come to Canada!!! 2016 Platinum F150 for $42k
#22
Quite the opposite. My friend went in a Ford dealer just to get an oil change, and ended up trading his 2014 for a new F 150. He got the same $$as he paid for it 2 years ago, all while getting a super deal on a 2016. Salesperson told him flat out that his truck would be shipped out of the country .

If you aren't coming to Canada to get away from Donald Trump, then maybe you can consider coming here to buy an F150!
I recently went to the dealer up here in Canada and was able to walk out with a 2016 Platinum (base model, no sunroof or adaptive cruise) for just under $55,000 CDN before taxes. The MSRP was around $71,000 CDN but I got around $16,000 off in total discounts. Converted to American dollars, that is $41,900 USD approximately.
Now the reason I bring this up is because years ago when the CDN dollar was at par with the USD, us northern folk would come down to the great land of USA to buy our new vehicles! I went to a Ford dealership in 2011 in the US and bought my F150 and got a great deal. We gave your economy a huge boost and got some great deals along the way
Now the tables have turned!!! Come to Canada and give our dealers some business and help us fund our overpriced free health care for ALL!!! lol
Regarding importing it, I have never gone from CANADA>USA (obviously) but I know others who have and they said it was easy. Obviously the process has to be easy because lots of people move from USA to Canada every day and bring their vehicles.
Edit: For anyone interested, just check out http://inventoryfoc.ford.ca/ and you can search any dealers in Canada (near you across the border). This site shows the adjusted price for vehicles and if you click on the little "?" beside the price you can see the breakdown. Take another $1000 off this price if you have Costco. Convert this to USD and see if it is worth it for you to come up here and buy a vehicle!

And I guess F150 forum has turn into a political place now that we are bringing up Trump and leaving the US. You all go and please don't come back. We don't need you. LOL

I bought my truck last November. MSRP was $67,250. The Ford employee pricing wasn't offered at the time, so the discounts I got on the truck totaled about $8500. However I did manage to get 0% financing.

My cousin just moved back to the US because of Canada's Healthcare system and some other stuff. She got sick of waiting in lines for a week to see a doctor. So I can see why you feel that way about your healthcare.
