Default Coincident or not?

Last night I changed out my headlights from the stock halogens to the Alpharex pros's on my 2017 XLT. After I turned back on the truck the AC would only blow hot air from the vents. It was late so I gave up and figured I'd try and tackle it today. I'm gonna check the compressor, clutch and pressure this morning. Anything else to check? It's just weird that it would go out after I changed the lights is all. Thanks in advance.

I would start with fuses and connectors. It’s more likely that you bumped something that caused an electrical issue than you caused mechanical damage to the AC system...also easier to check

Well the clutch def is not engaging. the only fuse I can see that is burnt out is #34 trailer tow park lamps. Changed that to no avail. I guess I'll try and replace the #30 Air conditioner clutch relay.

Did you remove the grill by chance? If so, you might not have plugged in the ambient temp sensor, and the grill shutters.

Everything is computer controlled these days. If the outside temperature sensor isn't connected I think the default is -40 degrees. The computer will not let the compressor engage if it thinks it's this cold outside.

Yeah took it off last week but maybe last night while doing the lights I disconnected by accident. I'll check that out also after work tonight. Thx for the suggestions.

Well I'm not exactly sure what the issue was but I disconnected the AAS and blew on the connectors, reconnected it and it still didn't work. Went to bed, woke up and now it's working. lol. Hopefully it keeps working seeing as how I'm driving to Florida tomorrow. Thanks for the help and suggestions.

Possibly, just had to take some time to reset and the code to clear.
