Would totally retrofit that for the magnetic phone holder. Cut that lip off, a little filler and some flat black spray, cut the hole for your magnet. Fasten from the back side with some JB. Bingo, OEM looking magnetic mount!

Just a flat price of plastic, pull out the coin holder to measure for size. A little sanding and wrinkle paint, you could add anything you want.

Default Remedy!

I have a black plastic piece that fits flush as a replacement. Now I can mount my phone without it interfering with my vent!
