Forscan is free. All you need is an OBD adapter.

If you are going to perform any work on your truck, and have a Windows laptop, get FORScan and this adapter.

This one works well. Pretty reasonable at $38.

I don't recall who it was, but some clown on these forums actively recommended that you take your vehicle to the auto parts store for diagnostics instead of the dealership.

The vLinker FS is a better option than the OBDlink because it’s slightly cheaper and supports FEPS 18volt for programming when needed.

Default The engine light heard me

I just spent $139 on top of the line Blue tooth reader, from Amazon Got in truck to get more Christmas cheer and voila! No engine light once again, here for 3-4 days then gone 3-4 days then back again.

I have a BlueDriver BT reader. It gave me a code and explanation for something one time. Forscan gave me a different explanation for the same code. Forscan was correct. I notified BlueDriver about it.
