Haven't noticed any driveability issues. I reset it and gonna take it for a spin.

This is bad or just a hiccup?

125,000kms and yes I have the cold start rattle.

Code came getting onto a freeway and I wasn't even gunning it.

 

Are you running a mobile 2-way radio of any sort? RFI can trigger the code. Could also been caused by a little dirt in the oil that went through the VCT.

Oil was changed just couple thousand kms ago. Full synthetic. Even towed with no issue

Is this a phasser issue ??? Wish I had gotten it repaired under warranty.

 

Could be. How are you reading the DTCs? With FORScan?

Does it display the entire DTC string?

By this I mean a number like P0012:01-05 (for example)

The number after the colon indicates the failure mode which can be helpful when troubleshooting. The number after the dash is the number of occurrences in hexidecimal.
