Default code help b1087

my powerful mirrors stopped working and the only code I get that is out of the norm is b1087 in the ddm. does anyone know what I can try or what I might need to replaced to remedy this code? all wires and connectors look fine with no corrosion or broken spots.

different ddm and window switch have been tried and made no difference. that links states windows switch won't work but mine does completely for everything but folding mirrors. also the code given to me upon further inspection is listed as b1087:87

I tried to find that code in my 2015 Workshop Manual, could not find it. The LIN bus is one of the networks in the truck. Does your turn signal work on the mirror, the signal for that comes via the network also. About the only thing I can think of doing would be to try and reset the network in Forscan, I believe its under the wrench icon. Or you could disconnect your truck battery for 20 minutes and see if that does it.
Are you trying to fold the mirror using the switch, or did you turn on autofold with Forscan?

mirror turn signal works. tried all of the resets. and still no change. only thing I haven't tried at this point that I can think of is a different pdm so I am going to try that.

Default b1087-line bus A

I am getting this code after doing the power fold mirror swap. My rear passenger door will not open due to the line bus A code. Does anybody have any ideas on where to start to diagnose this?

LIN is the Local Interconnect Network. Look at Circuit VDN09 from DDM to Master Window Control Switch.
Probably a pinched wire somewhere.

Thanks. When I get my truck back from the detailer, I am going to check the passenger side harness.
