Default Wheel gap

Recently bought an 18 f150 FX4 lariat. Love the truck, hate the huge gap in rear wheel well. Any pics and descriptions of what you’ve done to close the gap would be helpful. Thanks

I am very confused...what do you think a wheel gap is, and how on earth is a LIFT supposed to minimize it? The only fix for a wheel gap is a lowering kit, unless you mean something way different than the rest of the automotive crowd.

You could shove some way too big tires in there...

Hook a trailer to it or put the truck to use hauling something other than groceries in the bed. Problem solved.

Pull the rear block for a free ~1” drop or do a 2” drop shackle for $100 or so to reverse level it.

No I don’t mean anything different. This area is new to me so sorry if the question was confusing. That’s why I’m asking for suggestions. Thanks for the input.

Apologies man, just reread my reply and it kinda sounds a bit hostile lol. Yeah, the amount of space between the fender lip and the tire is only going to get smaller by lowering it, or slightly bigger overall tire diameter. Lifting it will only make the gap bigger. There are quite a few nicely lowered ones on here (UNBROKEN being one of them haha), and the Lowered Trucks section here on the forums (not a generation specific area) has some great threads for the various lowering kits and such available, if you decide to go that route. Those of us who lower them are vastly outnumbered by the lifted trucks, and tend to catch some ridicule for what seems pointless to them, but I say to each their own, do what you like and think looks good! As with anything, start coming up with an end result you'd like to strive for, ask questions, and never stop your research. There is always something new to learn, and always an aspect of a mod you want that you haven't considered!

Wheel well liners, or painting that area makes it less noticeable.

^ This! Either wheel well liners or black undercoating will make a big difference on the looks, especially with a lighter color vehicle like silver or white.

I did the undercoating and it looks a whole lot better.

That's what I was going to recommend. I noticed a difference after installing the rear wheel well liners.
