Default Clock format not setting

Okay, in my 2015 f150, in the clock menu it allows you to set the clock to a 24 hour clock. I set it, but when I turn off the engine and start it up again, the clock is back on the 12 hour clock. Same thing with my Digital Speedometer. I change it to km/hr, turn off the engine, restart and it is back to mph. I don't have this issue in my 2019 f150. What gives?

Is the 2015 a US truck? That would explain the speedo default. Easy fix with FORScan.

No idea on the clock, but I think that has been addressed in a thread earlier this year, hopefully someone can provide info for you.

See page 106 of 2015 Owner Manual. Try this below and see if this changes the default speedometer to metric.

Information display settings for Type 1 Display:

Display Setup>Distance>Miles & Gallons, L/100 km or km/L

For Type 2 Display:

Advance Settings>Display Setup>Distance>Miles & Gallons, L/100 km or km/L

IDS is the software that Ford uses to change settings and reflash things. Therefore, the only way for you to remedy this problem is to take it to a Ford dealer, or an independent mechanic that has IDS. They will charge you for this, because your bumper to bumper warranty has expired. How bad do you want a 24 hour clock?

Are there very many metric speed signs in Mississippi? I don't recall seeing any.

if you are from ROW it might be a little easier to compute in your brain .. its hard to explain even though the sign says 60 mph .. when you're cruising you know you cruise at 100 KM
